Guest Information

Thank you for agreeing to appear as a guest on my podcast.
Please carefully note the following information:

The interview is conducted online. A PC webcam is best. If you are using a laptop, it works better if you can elevate it, like on a stack of books. A camera angle that looks up your nose or shakes is not pleasant viewers. You could use a cell phone, but it should be steady and stationary, perhaps on a raised stand, and in landscape mode, if at all possible.

Be sure to select a location with plenty of light (top and side) but not with a bright window behind you. Be careful of distracting light reflections on glasses. If you plan to show something for the camera (like a book), be sure it is within easy reach.

Clothing is best if it does not blend into the background, has wild patterns or includes distracting slogans. We want you to look your best for the camera.

When we set up your interview date and time, I will send a llink and password for a special login page (vMix Call). When you log in, you will see your image in one corner of the screen. The rest of the screen will show what is being recorded. You can expect the interview to take fifteen to thirty minutes. There’s no pressure. Just relax and enjoy the experience. I will pause after each of your answers to be sure you have completed your thought. If you feel you have made a mistake, simply stop for a moment and start over. I carefully edit the interviews before posting them.

Please provide a brief paragraph for your introduction, along with a photograph and a list of your book titles. Otherwise, we can use your Amazon Author Profile. Please let me know your social media links and your website. If you don’t have a website, we can talk about that. Our sponsor is Cyberchute Hosting, and we have an amazing special offer for guest authors.

You are welcome to use any portion of the finished production for your own marketing or promotion.
